TALA SOCCER coaches

TALA Soccer Training believes in giving back to the game of soccer and to the legacy of the multitude of coaches who have influenced and shaped our passion for learning, loving, and playing the game. We are grateful for the coaches who have developed us as players and people, served as both coaches and role models, and provided us with the understanding that the best coaches are the ones who are constantly and consistently in a process of learning, improving, and developing self-awareness through self-reflection. TALA Soccer believes in giving back to the game of soccer and recognizes the future of the game is the next generation of the players. At TALA Soccer Training we are dedicated to paying forward the knowledge, skills, and awareness we have accumulated as lifelong players and students of the game to the next generation. We seek to instill our passion for coaching, continuous education, and playing the game in the next generation of leaders by working directly with active and former players who aspire to develop as coaches and people. TALA Soccer Coaches work in collaboration in the facilitation and design of TALA Soccer Training Sessions. TALA Soccer is committed to providing an environment for the next generation of coaches to earn their United States Soccer Federation licensure while providing a space to directly apply what is being learned in with a built-in coaching mentor. We are grateful to be working with a talented group of coaches who through a person-centered approach to teaching and learning turn their passion for the game into their purpose for continuous learning to best develop the next generation of dedicated players.

Introduction to Grassroots Coaching

Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments

My name is Sahil Arora and I absolutely live soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was 9 years old and have grown to experience many different aspects of the game at the various levels I have played. Coaching soccer has always been something that has interested me because I loved helping others get better. In my earlier years, I would always learn new skills from random videos online and go around teaching them to all of my friends. It was really fun and made me realize that soccer and coaching soccer is something that I am super passionate about. I believe that coaching is an art that requires a lot of experience to be able to master. I have experienced many different types of coaching techniques and philosophies from many different coaches over my career. In my eyes, playing soccer is a mental game that can be tough to figure out. Over the course of my time playing, I have accumulated a lot of tips and tricks which I believe have provided me with a clear edge over other players. Ultimately, my experience at a high level alongside my passion for the game is something that I can help share with younger players looking to expand their soccer careers. Soccer is a game for everybody and if you learn it the right way, you can go very far!

My name is Teagan Breton and I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. Coaching soccer is always something I have been interested in doing. Being involved with athletes while they are getting better brings me so much joy. I have played on many different soccer teams throughout my life and because of that, have been around many different coaching styles. One thing I have noticed is that soccer can be a mind game, and to be successful you need to have confidence in yourself. My goal is to build every player up with enough confidence so that they can get out on the field and do great things.

"A champion is someone who does not settle for that day’s practice, that day’s competition, that day’s performance. They are always striving to be better. They don’t live in the past."

My name is Emily Frodyma and I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Soccer has been able to be an outlet for me for years and also a great way to build lifelong friendships and even find a mentor in a coach as I have over my career in the game. I have looked up to my soccer coaches as mentors which is why I started having an interest in wanting to coach. TALA Soccer Training has been the perfect way for me to continue my lifelong journey to develop as a coach. TALA Soccer provides the opportunity to explore different coaching styles and learn what will benefit the players which are most important to me. I am so excited to start this coaching journey with TALA and hope to be able to share and help other people find a love and an outlet through soccer.

I am constantly learning and growing as a coach to ensure that I am providing the best experience and development for the players. I believe that soccer is more than just a game - it teaches teamwork, discipline, resilience, and so much more. I am dedicated to helping every player not only improve their skills on the field but also grow as individuals off the field.
Being able to pass on my knowledge and passion for the game to the next generation is incredibly rewarding. I love seeing the progress and improvement and confidence of the players grow over time, and I am proud to be a part of their soccer journey. Coaching allows me to give back to the sport that has given me so much joy and fulfillment throughout my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of TALA Soccer and to help shape the future of soccer.
